I've got about 2oz of budrotten green - very nice tops of two Chronic colas and the top of a KillerSkunk.

What's the best method to use?

I've searched and read that making bubble is okay because the spores float to the top, but tbh, that doesn't appeal. I'm happy making oil, preferably QWISO, HHO or BHO. I know the differences for normal green, but for budrot will all 3 kill the spores? (hexane, butane, 99% iso)

Alcohols and alkanes (butane, hexane) are not very good sporicidals. They'll kill most molds but the spores are a different matter. Spores are incased in very resistant shells. They'll kill some spores upon prolongued exposure but not others. You can, however filter them out with 1 micron filter paper/bag. Mold spores are approx. 1-100 microns in size, with very few being less than 3 microns. However, dissolved mycotoxins can still make it through. Some mycotoxins are polar and some are non polar, so you can dramatically decrease their levels by dissolving the BHO/HHO a second time in alcohol, before filtering again.

Personally, I'd recommend just bubbling the lot. Almost all of the spores will be removed in the water, especially if you rinse. Then just make sure that you only vapourise the hash, rather than allow it so combust or smoke. Over 90% of tobacco and oil smoke partlces are less than 1 micron (typically 00.1-1 micron). Almost all spores are too large to make their way into the smoke, even if they survived the heat. However, the smoke particles could contain mycotoxins, which are molecules much smaller than the spores or smoke particles and they are often heat stable. To avoid this, simply vapourise the hash and don't let it pyrolize or smoke. Mycotoxins are usually non volatile compounds, so they do not vapourize easily.

When I had some moldies from the outdoors this year - the lot went in to the freezer and got bubbled, I do only Vape s- as per comment above around temps etc... is probably true it tastes great and does the job it is supposed to do very well

e2a - forgot to add, the worse bits which were really pretty moldy were bubbled first, then when teh bubble was nice and dry but through some ISO - not a lot came back to be honest 9not a lot at all), but what did was very strong
