Went to the uk hemp expo today and got some 2 pounder seeds from kiwi. Matey said finishing times were begining of oct. Is this the case? Anyone tried it? Looks like it could be promising

I grew it, I grew it indoors though. Yield wasn't bad but my suspicion is they yield came at the cost of potency. Although I had a couple problems with them in veg through grower error/environment probs, so that could've contributed to that. Big plant though, big sun leaves too. I just thought it was a mild smoke. Like I say though, you might do better. They're supposed to yield well outdoors I've heard.

Just bought myself some White Island, from the hemp expo. Not sure what they'll deliver, but I can't go wrong with 10 fem seeds for £30.

New Zealand has some warm Autumns, it's also very dry in places, so good for outdoor growing, not brilliant for the UK climes, but still possible. We had a very good Autumn this year. So def. possible.

Bit worried about potency of strains myself, I think some breeders occasionally get things wrong...I'll let ya know how it turned out next year!!

I brought some from there today too. He had a bit of 2 pounder bud under the microscope they had there did u see it?, it looked nice. I asked him if he grew it and he told me someone that was passing gave it to them but said the guy grew it outdoors in the uk. I had some frisian and early durban with me and they looked well nice under the mic!!

I hoped to get some canadian strains too but couldnt fiind anything there.

Yeah I looked through the microscope, I remember wot I saw was nice but didn't realize it was 2 pounder.
Matey told me some ppl sed their 2 pounder finished beggining of oct in uk, which ain't bad. I was hoping for Canadian
seeds to but I think they quite hard to obtain

i think the london seed centre do some canadian seeds, i looked on their website yesterday and they said they would have loads of stock at the expo and discounts too. When i got there i went straight to the stand and had a look, they had nothing!! i asked the matey and he said they only brought cheese seeds with them... and they were near the bbchese stand too!! The timewarp and purple pineberry are quite pricy at about £30 for 5 reg seeds so hoped to get some kind of deal there, had a good time but no deals to be had.

That bud was indoor he said. The microscope was pretty cool, but he just picked it up for me to smell, mmm reminded me of home. Funny how the olfactory organ brings memories rushing back.

Be interesting to see if the 2 pounder comes in, at harvest. Be sure to drop the Kiwi seed guys an email on how they grew etc...might even get some freebies.

Wonder who else will have a go with Kiwi next year?

I live in NZ and have luckily obtained a clone to mother from an acquaintance who was recently in Holland and smuggled some Mako Haze seeds back with him.

I currently have 10 rooted clones from it about to be transplanted into their plots so I'm really excited to see how they perform outdoors. The bud I smoked from his first (indoor) run was very nice and a great change from the heavy couch-lock indoor strains that are usually about. There's generally always good outdoor bud available though as sativa's can have a good chance to perform.
