Hi gang,
Click to view attachment Growing some bag seed (possibly mazaar) Everything was going fine through veg. However they have been gradually going downhill since being put into flower. It started with the biggest fan leaves at the bottom. I put this down to the lower leaves not getting enough light. unfortunatly it started creeping up the plants. I gave them a dose of epsoms last week but that doesnt seem to have helped. Finally as a last resort I switched from Ionic nutes to canna (always had good reults with canna in the past) earlier this week. What else can I say. EC is at 1.4 (to be on the safe side). growing in coco/perlite using autopots. I've lost a load of fan leaves now and flower production is minimal.
feel free to discuss

edit: it might also be worth noting that some leaves are almost completly bleached white

hmmm Id just read somewhere that ionic nutes and mg def caused a problem for some growers.
maybe I'd been over doing the ionic boost. But i dropped back to just canna A+B a drop of cannazym and NO boost. I've been pretty careful this grow not to go over 1.8ec.
grrr this is doing my swede in
thanks for the comment :-)

Weird mate, my friend has been having exactly the same problem except that his do it straight from the start of veg, starts off looking pale and then yellows from the outside eventually going bleach white and the leaves are really wispy and sparce. We've tried every remedy and still can't work it out. He uses canna hydro and EC/PH are correct, watering schedule correct, air exchange is good and light is fine. Just can't work it out. I hope you get it sorted so I can find out what it is.

You mention EC but not PH, I take it this is ok to?
It does look like burn a bit although one crap pic aint much to go on, get a few of the full plant and try to get bigger pics.

Just a little update,
Decided to take on board what apothecary suggested. Mostly due to fact that his diagnosis agreed with what I've already been thinking.
However two of the plants seem to be doing ok and would appear to be showing good new growth. Maybe the canna nutes are kicking in. The third plant is the one which is still suffering as the leaves on the main cola are dis-colouring.
So I've taken this one out of the auto pot system and put the pot into an empty bucket. Then I flushed the pot with 2 litres of tap water. finally I've mixed up another 2 litres with 2 teaspoons of epsoms and fed the plant a litre of that. I'll run the other litre through tomorrow (I did all this last night)
With a bit of luck and a following wind this plant might be saved
I'll post some pics 2morro
Just wanna thank everyone for taking the time to chip in and make a comment.
