I've got a DR80, I picked up a 8inch fan from B+Q that I run in there.

Problem is that it's not oscillating, so it just stays in one spot. Is that a problem for the plants? The same leaves being battered by the air?

I try orientate it so that it's blowing through the midde but sometimes it's 2-3 days between visits so they grow during that time.

What is your reccomendation? Is that alright?

In my experience, it's a problem. It will cause wind burn, potentially malform growth and generally piss your plants off. They like oscilating fans smile.gif

Yeah I noticed 1-2 of the leaves sometimes end up pointing upside down and look a bit funny smile.gif

But I haven't got the space to stick a pedestal fan in there lol.gif.

I have exactly the same problem mate... you can get clip on oscillating fans which are definitely the way to go, but I've been hanging regular ones upside down recently lol.gif

There are some nice looking metal ones floating around that cost a bit more, i'll probably go for one of those soon.

My fan is from B+Q and I took the base off and I'm hanging it from the top, proper dodgy style!

I'll have a look around for clip on oscilating fans, can't see any in all the normal grow shops, maybe they are too crap to be sold lol.gif.

Yeah normal oscillating fans are fine, just hang them upside down using some bungee cords smile.gif
