Hey, just a general question

Got my hands on a 600w HPS with balast for cheap, everything works perfectly fine on it and its only to see me through till i get a new one

Anyway i was just wondering, im not sure how old the bulb is in there so i was gonna change it but i think my drobe can only handle a 400w till i get new extraction

So... Would a 400w bulb work in a 600w reflector and balast, and if so, would it be electricly safe, dont want no fires and getting the street high

With a view to the future, I reckon the logical pairing with a 600 watt HPS is a 250 watt.

How big is your space ?

it will work in the refletor, but not the ballast!
