Right just bagged myself a AirForce SCS8400 off a mate of a mate for £70 ,, anybody ever used 1 and got ant tips?? also says that i can wire a thermostat to it any body know how?

Airforce accoustic fan I take it?.iv just bought one a few weeks ago and it's awesome so quiet .iv got mine plugged into a SMS com thermostatic fan controller with accoustic ducting lovely.£70 quid bargain I paid £240 for fan rhino filter and accoustic ducting.

Yes. Google the code, and about three entries down there's an airforce address, then look at the tech spec pdf, got the exact details.

The controller? I've got the 500w version I believe they sell the thermostat bit seperately it was like £100 when I bought my controller (Which was £130).
The 2 pin plug overides the variac controller so if you plug in into the contactor you can run the fan full speed at lights on and drop to 1/4 speed lights off.
I can't find any mention of it now except in growhell page which doesn't list the module but mentions it in the bumff.
Very good quality controller had mine years no problems at all.
I have an airforce fan at intend to buy a 2nd one.

ok thanks guys i will have a look on there web page,, was hoping that i could put any thermostat onto it as theres are quite expensive

Not to sure you can get them anymore, seems they've once again stopped making them, airforce has been shut down as far as I know.
E2a:- been told that from 3 grow shops now.

I dont think airforce has shut down, a growshop owner i know told me they are limiting production due to some reason....you can find airforce fans on the web
