Full Version: 8ftx4ft Room. 2x600w Or 1000w On A Light Mover?

Would be growing 12 plants in 10l buckets. Every book I've read says that a light mover allows you to extend the growing area by 30%. Most people I've spoken to (not many!) reckon that 2x60w would be a better option. The way I'm thinking I could save 200w of electricity which could then use a 400w for vegging rather than a 250w.

I do want absolutue optimum conditions in the flowering room so if 2x600 is better then thats what I'll do.

Can anyone advise me?
Scooby Snax
the light movers a great idea

..... and the two 600's will still give better coverage used with it imo wink.gif

cheers bro an what scooby means is if you got a 1000watt on a rail wen the light gets to one end the other end of the rail will be dark as fuck lol.gif
Tutu
I'd put 2 1000w's in there if I could keep temps under control or at least 2 600w at the very least.

Never had any experience with light mover but just seemed like something else for Tutu to break and fuck up, static lighting all the way at Tutu's.

I'm in the last week of flower with a 1000w in 4ftx4ft tent and have had good experiences which I shall be repeating again, in fact as soon as I crop I have some Coco babies spying the 1000w up.
