Hi guys
Iv potted my plants into 11ltrpots from 6.5ltr pots, as i took some of the plants out of the pots i could see really small white spiders/mites, could they be fungus gnats? iv seen 1 or 2 flying around in the room.
Iv already got a small infestmantaion of spider mites and tackling it with Spider Mite Control

try here to indetify them,if you have a loup it may help
http://www.uk420.com/boards/index.php?showtopic=99764Thrips fly ,and they are white .shake your plant over black paper A4 or something bigger and take a look there should be loads off critures there,if they seem jumping it really might be thrips.
Any way strart killing them faster as you can...

Adult Fungus gnats are black in colour and are actually like little flies.They don't fly too much unless disturbed really.The larvae are white and you will normally see them in your run off water like tiny maggots.

Got the same just now with westlands compost, gnats and springtails.
Get some sticky traps and lie them across the pots and a couple above the canopy to catch the adults and use gnat off to kill the larvae, you need to break there life cycle, theres a good article in the knowledge base which i think is by owderb.
Springtails are the little white jumping things but they dont do any harm.
