Hey folks,

I've been running my light cycle 20/4 howver am suffering really high humidity when lights out. I'm on Day 51 and was wondering can I keep the light on 24/7 for the remaining time? This would help but will I stress the ladies if they have got used to 20/4. I'm not sure what the best option is. I've currently got an electric heater in the room when lights out to try and sort the problem? I have an option of turning up the 250 extracter as it is on its lowest setting. Not sure what else I can do.

Any comments would be really appriciated,

Thanks in advance peeps :-)

Amnesia
My first grow was Lowryder 2,mine were given 20/4 lighting but i switched the schedule to 24/0 at around 6 weeks.I did not raise the regime slowly and just switched straight from 20/4 to 24/0.
My dry weight from the 3 plants i grew was well over 6 ounces so i don't think i missed out on that much yeild! lol.gif
Take a look in my grow diary below if you like and enjoy your harvest!,mine were chopped at 63 days from seed and it really is a nice smoke. thumbsup.gif

Hey Amnesia,

I read your diary a few times and am using it as a benchmark as if i get anywhere near your results then will it will be happy days:-) I'm currently suffering from high humidity when lights out but ok lights on so i will have to make the swith as I'm worried about the rot. I've 6 ladies at about 53 days or so. One could be ready in about 10 days but the others must have had a slow start so maybe give them a week or 2 extra, i will see how the 24/7 lighting goes. I think I well under fed so have been giving them 1ml grow and 2 bloom just to be safe. One is suffering with yellow curled up dying leaves, a couple i think could poss have lsf as there are gold spots on the leafs but doesn't seem too bad to be honest. Anyones comment are greatly appriciated :-)

I would turn up the extraction anyway as better air exchange helps prevent against fungal diseases and such.I had LSF with my Lowryders in early flowering but looking back i think this was because i only had a single 6inch hole as a passive intake and my temp controlled ruk fan is always on its lowest speed as my temps were always okay.Since then i've added an extra 6" intake and installed a 120mm pc fan in each hole to help draw in the air.Now on my second grow and everythings perfect even with the new 400w digital. thumbsup.gif
Regarding your lighting cycle i would definately switch it now to 24/0 as mine loved the extra light. That was my first time at growing anything and was i amazed myself how i got such a big yeild,i can only put it down the big pots, good compost and extra light i gave them.
I hope you have the same success as i did.trust me you will be impressed with the smoke! spliff.gif stoned.gif

well 20/4 normally ok 18/6 hours the min

if you really wanted to go higher than 20/4 on the following day add half hour ie 20hours 30 mins on and 3 hours 30 mins off. then 21/23 ect..

your yield may go up a little but not enough to justify the leccy
