whats the most reliable way of spotting a good mother from seed???

Don't think it's possible from seed stage. Reckon you have to let them develop and see how they turn out. Sure the more experienced growers will add to this however reckon there's no sure-fire way of knowing.

ie taller,bushier,big leaved,thick stemmed or many of these attributes

the only way you're gonna know for definate is by taking them to harvest

then you can decide for sure, i'd be looking at time to flower, taste, effect, yield

until then, keep as many as poss, you're know which ones to get rid of i reckon when the time comes

how bout putting pictures up when you're gonna cull some and let us decide?!

think il go my old tried and tested route of veging em all up,taking some cuts and labelling whidh one they came off, flower them off, and keep the winner
just the numbers that bothers me

I did my first cloning recently and I just chose the most vigorous plant, it was quite easy as one of the plants was at least twice as big as any of the others.
Even after I took lots of cuttings it's still bigger than the others .
