dude add PK 13/14 from week 4 like it says on the bottle. You seem to be trying to make people answer you with info they don't have...
I reckon your best option is having a look through the grow diaries or even better the Cream of the Crop and finding the people who have the biggest fattest buds. See if they are using PK 13/14, if they are then see when they use it from?

what about growth technology's ionic boost and canadian xpress's headmasta.
both recommend using from the start of flower, so are these not PK's then?

i used pk on one of my grows this year and couldnt spot any changes after using it.
i now use ton o bud from extreme additives along with bud start and carbo blast again from extreme additives, and i get good results in soil. check out their website www.SPAMTASTICO.com

Nutes = N P K + micros
PK13/14 = P K
Nutes + PK13/14 = N 2P 2K + micros
I don't see the point of that at all.

in hydro, you may see P K deficiencies, but no N deficiency, in which case PK makes up the extra needed. if no deficiencies are present, then you're simply changing the nutrient ratios, midflower plants need a different raqtio of PK than the start and end of flower, mainly around the point of the main gain in weight, hence why most companies say use around weeks 3-6ish. so you add a PK booster, rather than buying a whole different load of nutrients.

Because it doesn't work that way. The reason for boosting using PK in certain weeks in flower is because the plants are using more P and K resources to build buds. Certain grow schedules have a single feed (e.g. Coco AB) that turns from veg to flower by adding the PK.
I suppose if you're using different grow and bloom formulas then your thinking is fine, with the additional PK in the bloom formula...but then again these places also tend to sell a PK on top, so I've no idea....maybe commercial reasons??

When I started it got sold as an aid to flushing. The thinking then was that nitrogen is what gives the harsh smoke so flush to get rid of the excess nitrogen. Add pk13/14 to give them the 2 other main elements while flushing. Somewhere along the line it became talked of as a yield booster.

tekk ya what i did notice was that the smaller buds in the shade of others, seemed to have grown faster when moved in to some light
