I´m looking for info to build a led lamp...
Does anyone know which leds to use?
And also, do UV bulbs work like the ones for reptilecages?
plenty of stuff in the lighting section mate

all coming to the same conclusion

I think what sky is trying to tell you is that led lights are shite!!! I had one for a while and with enough of them you may be able to grow something but it would be less than you would get with CFLs, and much, much less than you would get with HPS.

I'd stay away from LED's. for now till we know more about them. u can't beat an HID.

When I first saw the led lights I thought that this may be the way forward, low electric bills, less heat, and to be honest they look really pretty but I got very little joy and gave the led light to my friend who had no lights of any kind, he decided that he was better off growing his own plant in the windowsill.
In the future I will stick with my 250w blue enviro for veg and my 400w hps for flowering(depending on the kind of space you are playing with) its what you need.

LED widescreen T.V's are good!!

but seriously LED lamps sound like a waist of time from what i have heard but in time i bet these become the thing to have

can i ask why you want to build one?
