If you don't have a purpose made wetting agent like yucca extract then maybe some kind of ecological soap like Ecover might do in a pinch but I'd go very easy on it Herbal

Forgive my ignorance..... but why would you need a wetting agent? Is this disease/fungal/temp related?

Herbal , it breaks the surface tension of water and allows it to cling/stick/stay on the plants easier instead
of running, dripping , sliding off like water does on a duck's back wink.gif

Good luck

Herbal, if you sprayed ducks with a wetting agent they would get all soggy (don't try it)
and fall out of the sky due to being waterlogged like a wet sponge yes.gif

Great read Felix thanks,it says basicly i can apply it with usuall watering of plants ,

Oh and found a quote down in link under text

You have to add an emulsifier. (An emulsifier is any substance that makes oil and water mix, e.g. soap, detergent, shampoo.)/i dont quite get this detergent ? unsure.gif

Hi Herbal,

I'd go for a liquid soap, if you can speak to a shop assistant ask them for one that is hypoallergenic and can be used by folk with allergies. That should at least ensure it doesn't have too many extra chemicals in there, according to their website their products are all made from plant based ingredients so that's a good start. Make sure you spray a few test leaves first and observe, just in case the soap isn't suitable.

Good luck my friend thumbsup.gif

Castile soap itīs a neutral and organic soap that works very well as weting agent.
I use it in my home made garlic fungidice and works wonders.

Google for "liquid castile soap" with should show you a couple of buying options
If by any chance you have trouble finding a reseller sent me a PM and i will gladly sent you a couple of sites.

Herbal Kint
This is back side with ingredients, naturally my camera cant focus it...so ill just type it ,

Ingredients/

Aqua,Sodium Lauryul Sulfate,Coco Glucoside,Sodium Chloride,Lauryul Glucoside,Aloe Barbadensis Gel,Sodium Lauryul Sarcosintate,Parfum,Glycol Disteareate,Glycerin,Citric Acid,Potassium Sorbate,Sodium Benzoate,Linalool,Limonene,Citronellol,2 bromo 2 nitropropane 1.3 diol.

I was told that everything in shop is natural and bio detiriable ..lalalala i cant translate all that lol.gif

Nice plants Herbal yes.gif

I'd give it a few days before spraying the rest man, just to make sure there's no leaf burning or anything from the Ecover. Say 2 or three days unsure.gif

As for bathing them, don't see a problem with that man but would have though you use a lot less just spraying them. I wouldn't bother flushing them as you need the neem oil on the surface of the leaves and stems so that the thrips will consume some next time they feed yes.gif . As for respraying maybe every 5 days until you've gotten rid of the thrips, as a side note it can take up to 7 days for thrips to die after being sprayed with neem oil yes.gif

Hope that helps,
Felix.
