Hello Gang

Quick question. Im on day 31 of flowering, got some ladies in 11ltr pots in coco, using a+b, cannazym and boost, ph is 5.8 and feed level is 1.8, humidity levels and heat levels well in "ideal" parameters and using a couple of 600 wat cooltubes. The ladies are bigbud and are apparantly ready in 8weeks. Im just hand feeding them 1 and a half to 2 litres every day unless they need it more frequent.

I havent used rhizotonic since they were babies and recently noticed Canna advise to use it all the way through. Just seen a mates ladies which are in a wilma system, his are about 9 days ahead of mine but his look like real monsters at this stage and mine dont (sorry got no camera). Mine have lots of flowers but dont seem to be fattening up, im wondering if its cos i didnt use the rhizo???? I have not tell tale signs of illness except some light bleaching where i got a bit carried away with the old tubes but i did start to use pk13 a wee bit early (5 days) but have been assured this should mess anything up. I did cut low branches off weeks ago but probebly could have chopped more to help with the colas looking at them now though.

Do you guys/gals use rhizo all the way and what do you reckon on my issue??? All advice, opinions greatly appreciated.

Cheers

Bruce..

I swear by some kind of root enhancer be it Rhizo or another product right through veg till 3 weeks into flower mate, different strokes for different folks but I'm a big fan.

Woody

P.S. hearing good things about Plant Magic granules.

ETA.. do you pot up in stages Bruce?

Thanks for that. So i shoudnt use now as im too late into flower???

I made the beginers mistake of putting babies straight into the 11litre pots but i must say after thinking id well messed up the babies picked up and have grown very well, id say they just took 5 days longer to take to the pots but they have had no ill affect.

Ill check the magic stuff out online, cheers woody.

Alrite fella so ur mates hydro is he in clay pebbles?. Also u didn't state if ur friends growing the same strain.there can be loads of different things being different between ur grows air, temps, etc just coz people use the same nutes does not meen there final outcome will be the same.

After checking my rootballs potting up in stages I wouldn't do it any other way now. Traditional gardeners have been doing it for years for good reason.

Good luck with the rest of the grow mate.

Soz man, yeah my mate is using the same strain but is using the wilma system with claypebbles. I know he used the Rizo though.

Im in coco but the same size pots and our enviroment, thankfully is pretty much the same, both well inside the ideal parameters. Hes just using the wilma dripper system.

What u reckon Vince, all help, advise etc is well appreciated.

Evening Bruce

I remember speaking about this a while back with ya!

Your problem in my opinion stems back to you putting them in 11ltr pots straight away.

As you say next time youll do it and see the benifits Im sure.

At least youve got them to flowering stage mate..niceone,day 31 Im the same with mine, stick a pic up and show us how they look, you can compare it with mine in my diary and that might give you a better idea on potting up just the once.

Not sure about the rhzi tho, think it might be for the beginiing tho, wait for a more accurate answer tho.

Goodluck mate

It's probably too late now mate, but wouldn't hurt to give them one watering at 4ml per litre. If you're using the canna range a dose of pk13/14 is good around now (just for maybe a week or two (1.5ml per litre)) high in Potash, cheap at arond £13 a bottle and I get about 5 grows outta mine.

How much a&b you been giving them per litre?

Hey p+q

Thanks for the advice, im gonna check your diary out. Regarding the pots, my mate went straight into 11litres but his was in pebbles, does that make a difference. I know what you mean about potting up but they did pick up all the way back then and seemed to grow well, lots of lush growth etc... Really sorry got no camera.

Im defo going to pot up next time like you and others advise.

Cheers man

They are due for a feed tomorow so ill stick some in.

I am using canna and am due to give em some pk again at a third of the strength from tuesday.

Using the canna guide for a heavey feed im putting 90mils per 30 litre mix, 75mils on normal feed.

Cheers man

3ml per litre heavy sounds just about spot on mate (of course it varies with regional water/ strain etc.) but I find that about perfect for most of mine.

Looks like you've got it pretty roped bud. thumbsup.gif
