Full Version: Are My Buds Ready ?

Hi there,

This is my first grow, and i'd like some advice on whether my crop is ready for harvest.

I bought a cheap USB microscope from Maplin & have taken some lovely pics. The ones here are from a test bud i pulled at 46 days and dried for a day resting on top of the reflector.

it's skunk #1 from sensiseeds who say it's 45-50 days. Some buds have more red pistils than others. I pulled the buds which had started to havesome yellowish trichomes on, but on closer examination - there's still a lot of clear / milky trichomes. Should i wait till there's more yellow / amber trichs do you think ?

your thoughts are appreciated..

Nice pics spliff.gif , best to wait till they are cloudy though, all look clear at the moment.
You shouldn't dry on the reflector though, well maybe just the once spliff.gif
Enjoy your harvest. spliff.gif

With respect everyone
I see pictures, thumb clickable or not, i wouldn't know or understand but what i do hear and see is someone who has been converted to what we are all either doing or considering... me i'm considering but having 'lurked'.., i would say researched. I understand how forums work and how 'precious' they can be/get and for very good reason in most cases but hey UK420 please remember constantly that you have a 'rep' to live up to.
Be nice, be encouraging and please continue to be generous of thought to your fellow grower or potential fellow grower. The dealers are the crooks here not ppl naive to forum etiquette. They are growing... good for you Munky. Skunk No1 has always interested me quite a lot. Hope you get a great smoke for Christmas and beyond into the new year.

Well said Mr Wallace, there were pics on this thread when I posted, they must have been removed as they were too big, and then replaced by Kafka as the post was edited by Kafka. spliff.gif
