just wondering if any1 else grew there lowryder2 on a 125cfl with 24 hours ,,if so what was ya result like??

i ordered a pack of 10 seeds of LowRyder#2 and received 5 fem seeds (ordered from edit) nonetheless i only wanted to test em while i was veging up some other plants, they were in 6.5L square pots, under a 400w grolux for around 10 - 12 weeks in total (all seeds popped and finnished at different times from week 10 to 12 flower) the light was on 18 hours a day.

i got about 2oz a plant, they took up a good 1ft square each (but i crammed em in a corner anyway so they probably had 4ft square for the 5 plants) also some plants really filled out their pots and some only half filled, the correct pot size is 6.5L going by what most people say, but the genetics obviously have alot of variation, almost every one of my 5 plants were different.

look into santa maria or "Planck" (no mercy seed co) for the real deal.

Mate, I'm so glad you said that. I really loved my LR#2 a LOT, way more than I expected and especially seeing they get such bad press. One pheno was totally top shelf smoke with a really sweet creamy taste that was sooo moreish. Heck, it whitey'd a 20 stone 35 year old veteran caner (not me!!!)

I loved it so much I've been growing No Mercy Santa Maria f8 and got one hanging right now, due out in a few days. Smells amazing and exactly what I was looking for from the LR2, only minus any ruderalis crap in there. Not smoked any yet but I'm really hoping this is going to be an all-time keeper...but if it hadn't been for the LR2 i wouldn't have even considered the SM.

very nice green ninja, more frosty than mine were! mmmm... frosty goodness.

what light you use tends to depend on circumstances villalad, obviously if you have the money and room to run a 400w then most will probably do that, if you smoke 1g a month most would stick to cfls or dealer weed, i personaly like to do 1 grow a year with assorted strains, each to their own

im given the impression that santa maria will be MUCH more than Lr#2 ever will be, sounds an amazing strain, where did you get seeds from? (pm if nessesary) as the uk seedbanks tend to be sold out and im not sure about ordering from the seed co's .nl site (uk customs and €35 a pack)

i was considering starting a thread earlier to be honest as i didnt find much through google and aparently cuts were sent off to almost all the commercial growers in amsterdam with ties into KC, positronics crowd, so figured theres probably someone here who received and grew out the strain too, i did however find quite a bit of info posted on another forum by someone as a "guest" to the site
