Ok so after my outdoor adventures I have about 10 oz of leaf and stalks left over.

Can anybody suggest what would be the best way of extracting the last of the goodness from them?

Im thinking iso alcohol or butane, but i cant see how to use butane on such a large amount, any ideas?

Best bet for a lot of trim is bubblebags. If you bho or iso it your gonna use a lottt which is kind of a waste. You could also dry sift it with a big sift screen

I had thought about bubble bags but I cant see much in the way of trichs on the leaves so thought butane would get every last bit out, am i wrong, its only large and med leaf and stems but it has a smell so there sould be summit in them, no?

try a normal BHO run with just a couple of tins to see if its worth your while doing a larger extraction yes.gif

i would personally go for the thermos flask method - i done it using that method and it was piece of cake, plus i had a flask lying around. i followed mr mullens thread here

hope that helps mate wink.gif

A quick point. If you don't want to permanently dedicate the thermos for extraction purposes, then you can use a jar lid with a couple of holes in it, instead of putting holes in the flask lid.

If the amount of trichs is small and you don't want to use so much solvent for such a small return, then you can reuse the solvent. Briefly soak a third of the trim in ISO, for example and then strain the ISO onto more trim, until it's all done. The solvent will not become too saturated because of the low trich count.
