After much deliberation I've gone for a NFT 424, I've covered the white top plate with Mylar but can someone tell me hw I cover the cubes to make sure they get zero light?

Just checked somed diarys and it seems most just have the top part of the rockwool cube exposed, emergency over.

While I've got this open though any wisdom you could share with me on NFT would be very much appreciated?

I've got some Mylar which I've covered the corriboard cover with, so if I just cust three inch holes for the rockwool then it's ok to have the top of the cube sticking out a bit yes?

just make sure they well rooted into the big cubes before going into the system

good run off , i always put summit under the pump end

start the pimp `15min every hr for the first few days until they put some roots down

you can get things made to cover them maybe from greens i dont bother myself tho

Im knocking up a mini bubbler to stick the 3 inch rockwool cubes in to make sure they're well rooted (and also get a bit of vegging in before I slap on the 600w), sound good?

no need to make a bubbler dude , just soak the cubes and hand water until they rooted

This is more to gve them a bit of a head start before they go under the big light. Can you see any issues with it?

i dont like the sound of submerging cubes in water airstone or not tbh

they will grow while rooting out the cubes still , you just gotta be patient now this where most folks go wrong imo , trying to rush things , the plants are young mate . eas them in dude

the cubes will get to wet and not hold unuff air not what rockwool need

hi im using the 424 now, straight in the cubes and 600w turned straght on, soaked cubes in rhizontonic for 24 hours, they rooted rapid, in that system in 2weeks into flower and they are monsters i leave my pump on 24/7, my roots are now growing into the tank. fast system

i go with 4\6 depending on space in 1.2 i go with 6 and scrog them

alrite elbows, i use 5, was gona use 6 but lost a baby in transit dont ask ha ha so from the bit where the pump comes out ive got 2 either side one in middle an two either side again just below. so as u can imagine the one in the middle is a beast. my babys was about 4inches high when i put them in one week old or so. vegged em for 3, flipped em. im using rhizo cannazym big bud liquid hammerhead and ionic bloom for hydro. 1st time so cant base from previous experience how good these products are, thats why i used the ionic one part bloom. but with my pump runnin 24/7 they are monsters easily 3ft and bud sites right down every stem, madness cos never seen sumot like this before. thing is elbows they are nearly drinking the full res now in like 3 days. so im just throwing water in and extra big bud to get my ec back . funny really ha ha but im just gona see what happens, best of luck. also lad i know this is a long message but ive got a spare tank a fill the day before, mix leave it 24. i pump out the tub with the babies on into a 20l bucket so that takes 2 gos and then stick the pump in the other res and pump it back in. sorry for long txt. best of luck lad
