I took a few clones from a mates 2 female plants of unknown strain, about 6 weeks ago; they were very robust/healthy plants growing under a sunny skylight in soil, and the clones were also healthy and rooted quickly. I have potted up, and they are under domestic cfl's before I put them under the 600W light in the tent.

They look very healthy, and my mates ones are almost ready to chop .. so they are a late flowering strain ...but .. a couple of the clones have started growing large, single fingered leaves .. and most of them seem to be growing only 3 finger leaf sets, especially on the new fan leaves. One plant also has 1 new leaf that has come out in a spiral, which I am sure is indicative of something? Anyway, they are pretty healthy, but I am interested to know if anyone has any ideas what might be causing this?

either they havent had enough light since they were taken or you took them while they were already in bud mode. Either way if you get them under 24 hour light they will return to growing instead of budding. they sure look like they are trying to get back to grow mode.

Cheers gb1! That's a good point, had not thought about the light. I will get them on for 24hrs/day until I switch to 12/12 in a couple of weeks. It can't hurt. cool.gif

It sounds like your plant has gone into flowering mode recently, then gone back to re-veg mode. It is quite common, just like the pics in the other thread linked above. I had it when I vegged some plants in the sun at the end of summer where they were in the shade for several hours of daylight & daylight hours were at around 14hours, when I put them back under 18/6 light they started to grow single finger & ugly deformed three finger leaves. They soon picked up & grew some nice bud when flowered though wink1.gif
