Hey!

First time in hydro....

1m x 1m x 2mhigh tent
600w hps air-cooled hood - about 24" above seedlings
temps 25-27 degC - but has been 32degC for a few hours 2 days ago
good air exchange - lots of negative pressure - lots of outside air

generic non-organic soluble fertiliser with micro nutes - NPK 24-8-16 fed at quarter strength from cracking
going to get hydro nutes asap - not poss just now
with Vitax seaweed extract added (little drop)
watered twice a day til 3 days ago, watered 3 times a day - takes about 1 litre on each feed.
water recycled and topped up with plain tap water. nutes refreshed every day.

This seedling is the only one to develop brown spots - I'm quite sure I haven't splashed nutes over it as I load the tray
from the corner where no plants are. Shall I bin it? LSF?

Other plants are very light in the centre - much the same as this plant. Over/Under-feeding?

Any thoughts are appreciated! Thanks thumbsup.gif

That could have something to do with it - get something more specific and see whether that makes any difference...

I wonder how much feed they need at that stage anyhow... read this

Thanks for the pointers!

try a weaker light source 600w at 2 foot would stress young seedlings. get a proper veggy light. I use white fluorescent
4 -60 watt tubes.Bin the rubbish , only grow healthy plants, best not to take chances have fun
