Hi, I have a couple of cheese plants just coming into week 9 12/12. Both different, one has always been light green with big wide leaves and is in good health. The other has always had much darker thinner leaves, and from about the secound week of flowering she started to get manky dead leaves on the scruff and around the bottom of the plant in general.
TBH I didn't take too much noticed, put it down to low light and moisture due to the closeness to the soil. I just cut off bad leaves as they appeared.
Now I'm approaching week 9 and the plant still seems weeks away from finishing, at least 2 anyway. On closer inspection in the last week it appears that now virtually all the leaves have some badness on them and I'm now wondering if it is this that is slowing her down?
Have a look at the picture, most leaves are like this some are more brown. The leaves themselves feel quiet dry and crispy.
Is there anyone who knows what this is or if there is anything I can do this late into flowering? Or should I just hope it keeps enough good leaf area to finish? What with this illness and a bit of heat near the top I'm beginning to wonder how it will photosynthesise :s
This one has been a bit of a nightmare from start to finish could really use a bit of help peeps, cheers
