hi people, ive just acquired sum bb cheese cuts and have had them in my nft system for a week now, they have picked up (they werent the healthiest of cuttings) and have 2 or 3 inch of new growth out the top, most of the new heads are puttin out three fingered leaves is this a sign of underfeeding? i am just wondering in ur experiences how much in cf or ec you should be feedin the bb cheese when your cuttings have rooted through the 6inch blocks and on to the nft tray?? thanks for lookin cheese mongerers

No one can tell you really what strength the feed should be at, you have to read the plant to be honest.....i have the original cheese and she eats allot i give her EC 2.0 and thats in compost my plants are prity big thou!

You have the cross by BB so should be a nute whore as well especially if you have the cheese leaning pheno, are your leaves a light green colour or spotty if yes then they could be hungry but if not start them off on weak feed EC1.0-(tap EC) and move them up over the course of there life as its easy to burn plants in hydro yours sound smallish still and like you said have had a bit of a rough start as well. Dont worry about the 3 fingered leafs most plants just do that and sometimes grow out of it as they get bigger, ive had one fingered leaves from a CM cut a while ago???

Hope that helps.

edit:::: just to add the plant will kill off bottom growth first and cannibalize that if its hungry whats the bottom quarter of the plants look like are they lush and green???
