Hello people, hope you're all having a good day

I've decided to ditch the dwc kit because the thing is just too noisey, it's 3 times louder than my 5inch fan!! I can't sleep with the thing in my room and I'm worried I'm going to get caught because you can hear a dull humming from downstairs.

I'd like to get a Wilma, but there's a naughty little electric bill stuck to the fridge that I really should pay sad.gif

My next option is to get the seedlings out and transfer them to some pots with coco and water by hand.

How much water will I need (and how often) and what sort of EC should I be using ? With the bubbles I could just test the solution and read the plants so I'm not quite sure how I should be going about it. How will I know if I've got the right nutrient strength ?

I'm using flairform green dream nutes, I have ec meter and ph test.

hand watering is fine, some people waters every two or three days some others every day but some one told me to wait until coco is dry(ish).that is when the plant has drunk the water and taken the nutrients. If you put dry coco and pour water in it you'll be amazed how much it takes. If you are constantly watering it will take the space of the air and it will be waterlogged. That is the thing that our babies hate the most.
there are options like air stones but you mention noise issues.
For nutes there are so many brands and combinations that is impossible to recommend other than by personal opinions. canna for base nutes and bigbud/overdrive do it for me (nitrogen, alga mic plus wiltguard and regenaroot) get yourself EC meter(must) and visit website of nutes maker as they all have calculators. Cannaboost is a rip off I had same results with or without it. Hope it helps

Constantly watering coco doesn't make it waterlogged it just replaces the nutes and oxygen same as any other hydro medium. If you want fast veg growth water twice a day with 15-20% run-off. If you're not bothered about fast growth water less often. It's the replacement of the oxygen in the nute solution that increases speed of growth, if you got dripper on a timer you could do it as many as 6 times and the coco shouldnt get water logged, coco doesn't hold on to water the way soil does. Watering with low ec an that much runoff means you wont need to flush too. Keep the ec low (I start vegging around 0.6-0.7 but the plants will tell you when they want more) but the run off should be 1 or 2 points higher than what you put in.
