Hi all, just thought id take a little time to say hello to everyone who uses uk 420.

Please be gentle as its all new to me....well here goes....hope you can help me with a few questions.

So...been a user for many years, but after searching high and low for half decent stuff thought it was time to dip my toe in to the world of indoor horticulture.

Im using coco canna in 7.5 litre pots, the little fellas are now rooted and in the first week of veg, i will be using A and B neuts and hand watering, could any one tell me how often and how much water i should use in the early stages.? and the correct amount of neuts.? After reading a few articles i understand that its all down to trial and error and its what ever works well for the grower and the plants but i am greatfull for any kind of advice.

Also, should i ad the A and B after i have got the right P.H or before.? as i hve been told that A and B will not affect the PH

Also been advised to use PK13/14 and a boost in the later stages, anyone any idea when i should start using..?

Now i know that to the experienced grower these questions are the very basics but everyone has to start somewhere and theres a first time for everything...

I'm a compost grower, and know nowt about coco. But no doubt a coco-head will be along soon to advise ....

i dont know of a and b nutes, i use biobiz bloom and fishmix, i use only water untill seedlings are 3 weeks in, then i sart feeding fishmix, 2.5 ml to 1lt, increasing over the veg cycle.

Welcome buddy, don't worry you're in good hands here am sure someone will be along soon, I have used the canna aqua a&b in hydroton but a long time ago and I think I pH'd afterwards but as the name suggests I don't do many things right and have been mud growing for some year now so don't go on my stoner memory.
There's plenty of stuff here to keep you busy catch you around the boards fella.

i grow in soil so won't be of much help there. but as a new grower i can say that i lost a few days (in a good way!) reading the knowledge base and boards for answers to a lot of my questions when i got started. there is sooooooooo much good information here!!!

You adjust the pH after adding the A+B and whatever else.

Its harder for a beginner to fuck up a grow in coco, than it is in soil.

A PKN or boost is not essential, wait till later and experiment, see what you can achieve without PKN firstly.

Some nutes comes for soft water and some hard water, hard water nutes lower the ph .

Always adjust PH last.

Feed once a day to start, probably twice a day in bloom, water until it starts trickling out of the bottom of the pots.

Keep your room warm, watch em grow.
