Hi, i have a bit of spare space but am restricted to 1.2m head room, i have been looking at the 1mx75x75 bud boxes just wondering if any one has grown in one of these if so how many plants and whats the maximum watt light i could use??

I used to grow in one - Budbox M as it was then - Intermediate I think it is now. I had a 400w HPS in there in an adjustawing, no heat probs. Add a heat shield and get the bulb really close without burning for maximum output.
Also useful to scrog in them, or do ebb and flow using the EF120, which fits PERFECTLY inside it and stays low profile. Even if you don't automate the watering it's still a great run off res for handwatering (e.g. coco). Also, if you need to go away you can setup a drain to waste dripper easily.
It's a good tent, mine was a bitch to put up (tight) but I gather the newer designs are easier to fit, and with colour coded poles.

i got the intermediate budbox recently its 160cm high by 75x75 its very good but i can only really see me running a 250w light in there comfortably a 400w would lead to heat probs in the summer in my opinion
but apparently you can sling a 400 in there. for 1.2metre in height like the one you are considering i think you may be able to get a 250w in there but you would have no growspace and it would be hard to extract i would go for cfls in any space lower than 1.5m with that width just because the heat of an hps lamp is so limiting to the eventual hieght of the plants given so little headroom
i would reccomend a intermediate and a 250w light if you have the space check out the lowest link on this post if your interested

what height did you have your 250w from the plants
my 800mm high x 550mm square minibox copes with 250 ok and my dr80 will have a 400
