Full Version: Kick In Backup Power For An Rvk Extracter ???

hi i would like to know what the cheapest and a good way to have some sort of back up power to kick in if a power cut was to happend for just the extracter fan only not the lights just the fan as if there was a power cut the smell will start leakin out and that not good, i need something that will last about an hour or longer runnin on backup power it there anything thanks , any info would be appricated

Get the misses one of those bicycle electric generators.she can pedal while u reasure ur babys.sorry could not resist the only thing I can think of .alrite if u live in a rural area but then again if it's a power cut u could always plug a light in and know one would be any wiser.

A computer backup power supply unit would do it, you may be able to get a really old one on the cheap

like a UPS? was lookin at them on ebay all in one inverter, charger n battery but can u run a Rvk on them ? does it need to be pure sine wave form n not a modified one coz it a motor anyone got info on that?????
