Yeah, I was given some big ones with a fan a while back. I used gaffa tape in the end, though.

is gaffer tape better then? im just off to get some clips and wont bother if they are no good

there good as a final thing to hold everything together i usually duct tape the fans to the ducting then put a jubilee clip over the top. but duct tape alone works fine!

Never used one on ducting myself as i cant see how they can possibly be air tight without tape, and if you still have to use tape why bother with clips.

Clips for mechanical rigidity, tape for ensuring an airtight seal.

its good to have to clips so they are properly attached .. as i bit of movment can unlodge things and create air gaps ive found.
I use clips to set up till all is nice, then use 1 wrap of that 3M Silver Heat Proof tape to finally fully airtight it up...... and make it look sleek
