hi all, basically for a few harvests now or mainly this last couple cos ive moved an my grows kinda more outside than it was ive been getting these tiny lil flies keep buzzin round my plants from veg to harvest, they keep gettin stuck in bud an some are still alive jus lookin rather stoned.
any ideas on how to get rid of them please, wots best to use etc etc. they dont do any harm but i dont really fancy the extra proteins in my weed.

them sticky fly traps should do the job.

I have the same thing i think, my outdoor/indoor smile has been attracting them for a few weeks now. I believe they are fruit flies since i get both the black and orange versions and they dont look like gnats. They sit motionless, not sure whether they are dead or high but physically removing them means disturbing too many trich's so i stopped, i will have to remember to give the nugs a once over before they get jarred.

yea they are fruit flies or gnats but i havnt ever seen larvae jus the flies il go an check em out now in more detail.
they do seem dead but still move slightly thy get stuck in the trichs. i got em in veg at the mo tho.

e2a jus cheked an found lil larvae in the organic compost plants. so il get some sand to, not much larvae tho.
does anyone know if they like coco cos i got most others in pure coco but never seen em in that before.

jam jar with a little wine in it .......... they love that and die getting langers (pissed) nice way for them to pass on
