Hi
I have made bubble rings out of length of bubble tube and t piece, i also purchased a pack of Blackspur suction cups to keep then at bottom of bucket but they only stay put for a couple of mins.
I need something today to hold them down and someone mentioned threading the ring through nuts.
Obviously standard mild steel would rust but what about zinc coated/stainless.
What worries me is how this will effect the water ??
I have seen packs of 'Adams' branded suction cups which are bigger/better but i need something today.
Cheers

Correct me if I'm wrong, I think fish weights are lead.
Something inert and not necessarily metal would do the trick.
Is (hot?) glueing it in place out of the question?
Duck tape that is waterproof?

Buckets are full so do not want to empty them, could use aquarium silicone, going chuck some zinc nuts around for now though.
