Hi All ,need help on wiring a Systemair rtre 1,5 transformer, ive been unable to find a wiring diagram for it,i did get the instructions with it and thought it would easy t wire like cheap fan controller,so its either me who is stupid or the thing is broken, any info would be welcomed, thx leggy

from your plug, live to the 2nd from left, neutral, 3rd from left. to your fan, neutral from the N to the right of the earth symbols, live to your fan is the squiggle with the arrow through it. the squiggles mean phase/Live. the one with arrow through it means that it is variable. the other arrows are telling you whether you are putting something in, or if it's coming out

thx for the reply scraglor, hmmm ive done that and it dont work,do i wire the earth wires in there slots,or maybee its a faulty transformer,as there is no live feed in the fan live, ive tested it.

ive also got a woods fan controller ,can i wire that up like RAZs set up with a thermostat, will it be the same wiring, thx leggy

i think your problem is that the controller has built in over temperature protection. the terminals TK are for a thermistor to be connected, if the resistance is too high/low (depending on the type of thermistor it's designed for) then it'll cut power to the fan. i'll try and find out the correct resistor value, then all you need to do is connect it across those terminals

there should be a link connecting terminals RT, is it there?
scraglor
ah, the two terminals TK are for a thermal contact, not sure if these should be linked together or left open. first check the RT's are linked together, if it still doesn't work, try linking the two TK terminals together
