hello people ive been looking at these its the bottom system on the picture, is hydro the best method of growing with better results over in pots. also does any one know if some one has a hydro diary. has any one used one and got big yield?
many thanks

check the grow diaries... plenty of hydro... soil is easier in my opinion and i like to keep things organic. depends if you grow for yield or quality as a priority. you get more with hydro (although you can still fuck up and grow nothing with either) but i prefer the taste of soil grown organic so that's what i do...

Yes, but for a first time grower I don't think many people would recommend hydro, despite what the growshops and websites say about ease of use.

I'd recommend coco because it is a hydroponic method based in pots ("cocoponics" or "pot ponics"), so you get all the convenience of pot growing (individual feeding and movement) with the yield of hydro. The taste is fantastic but it won't compare to proper organic soil buds, but I'm very very happy with the quality of the weed I produce in coco, and I'd be willing for anyone to take a blind taste test with my weed over soil grown - but it's all very personal prefs imo (i.e. what you like and what I like may be very different).

I started in hydro, failed miserably, went to coco and haven't looked back. Check out coco - it really is the best of all worlds if you're not growing organically, and imo the most ideal medium for a newb (e.g. can't overwater and is much more tolerant of mistakes than hydro).

hydro does only pay if you get it right and if things go wrong you often have all your plants in one tank... bad news. i've not tried coco but from what i've seen/heard it's a happy medium.

As the greenninja said dude.mess ups can happen easier in hydro not saying people can't get it right on the first attempt in hydro. But in soil can be a bit more forgiving.

are results better in hydro? eg an ounce a foot?

It's quicker and if u do it right you generaly get better yields.but then again I'm sure there are some sages on here who can turn a lot out of dirt grown plants.uv gota have most of the pakage right heat, air, extraction, humidity, cleanliness.then again u can get all sorts of nastys of names I won't mention that could wipe the whole lot out in no time if u don't reconise the signs.
