Sneaked out the office yesterday to pic up this long anticipated game - been a long time coming...too long to be honest. Now its here...whoop whoop - it is very good, a couple of things they should have left alone from the last game, but overall, great graphics (for a console) sweet game play...lets see if I make it back to the office Monday morning

Anyone else playing - who wants a race online?

I need to learn how to tune the suspension properly. Anything less than R3 seems to handle like shit.

I was thinking of investing in an XBOX just for this game and Halo of course. The PS3 is unfortunately lacking in anything unique.

Depends on the car - the ain thing to do to sort handling is to get the lightweight kit to top, as well as medium or top suspension set up! once done it is a matter of tweaking - try the soft compound tyres, and stiffen the front suspension slightly and test, and keep testing until you think you have it. most cars are the same(ish) but it differs from RWD/FWD mid engine etc...but when you have one for RWD for example it is similar for all RWD cars

All i want it for is the racing/driving games as me and the missus love a drive(EDIT:On the console) when buzzin. I personally saw the bullet rebound on Halo and though WTF?! The PS3 is seriously laggin behind. I've just got my fingers crossed COD6 is that little bit more realistic.

Forza looks like its gonna pooh.gif all over gran turismo for sure!

Sweet! i've got the demo from live, like many other demos i play lol.gif call me sad but most of the times demos are enough for me, depends what the game is hey but Forza 3 is definately one game i want and need!

Its fucking brilliance, theres a pc game ive got called Project Torque which is quite similar in gameplay but its online only and you can buy cars using exp points and upgrade or you can pay to upgrade with cash... I literally spent a tenner on a car in that game and havent really played it since (my internet is laggy these days like fuck).

In forza 3 what i didnt understand is, how do you earn cars? do you purchase or trade or unlock?

Everything - you win them, you can trade them, you can buy them in auction on line, and you can buy then from the dealer - I fekkin love it - cant stop playing the bloody thing. What a game - and mate - the demo is nothing compared to the real thing

got it and loving it, bought a replacemnet xbox just for it... got to say though was sweriously fucked off when i found that unless i bought the "limited edition" forza box set then i cant use the 997gt3rs, superleggera or f430 scuderia as its "VIP content" whatever the fuck that means... what really steams my balls is i bought these cars for forza 2 from xbox live and now they want to fleece me again the robbing cunts! russian.gif
