If I put kingspan or similar in the roof rafters will it keep heat in the house or will it all just rise into the attic and do bugger all for the house.
Cheers

So I'd just have a toasty loft and that's it, the rest of the house would not benefit?

Put it in the ceiling if you want your house warm, or you could use glass wool which is cheaper.
