Just finished this game, quite short and the end spoils it a bit, one boss fight after another, and I hate boss fights. But up until then, wow what a game. Stealth, action, bit of RPG element and stella voice acting. The Joker and The Scarecrow are outstanding realisations. The Joker is voiced by Mark Hamill... thats right Luke Skywalker... and you can't for a moment hear Mark Hamill in there, he has been doing DC Universe cartoons voice for Joker for a while and has got it off to a tee. Filled with bile, glee, stupidity, maliciousness and insanity and the graphic animation of this is also amazing. Written by the same guy who is actually writing the Comic Books at present so is very consistent with the feel and mythos of the 'real' Batman mythology and history. Spooky, funny, dangerous and entertaining. And Batman never kills a soul, you just have to incapacitate your opponents. If you like Batman give it a look.

Yea man.. I had a go on the Demo and thought it pretty good...
I will probably get this ... Just after I finish my mammoth adventure that is FALLOUT 3.

Just finished Fallout 3 again a few weeks ago, and did all the add ons apart from The Pitt. Broken Steel is only valid add on and is a worthwhile conclusion to the story, imo. Just followed the story first time round, second time got the 'ability' that shows all locations on the map so explored whole thing, even finished the Nuka Cola quest, what a pain that was!

I'm thoroughly enjoying Batman at the moment. Quite immersive in a darkened room on the big screen in HD. Got so into it the other night that when one of the terrified goons shouted out 'Who the hell are you?' I caught myself answering 'I'm Batman' in my best christian bale voice as I strung him up from the nearest gargoyle blushing.gif

One thing thats starting to get a bit irritating is that Joker keeps calling me 'Bats!' ranting.gif

P.S Fallout 3, class game but if like me You haven't firgured out how to get the xbox live sorted then it's bugged to feck, as are a lot of good games, Farcry 2 for instance.

Play on PC hate XBox with a passion.

Don't you find the diminutive Bats is so in keeping with the way Joker takes the piss and talks down to Batman, made me smile when he called him Bats

Oooh, I've just got Batman, all 9 gigs or so of it... lol.gif

I really want to start playing it - I got the impression that it might be good from what I'd picked up on the 'net over the past month or so. thumbsup.gif

Mrs Sparkle even makes me Wii with her some nights bad.gif

You can get absolutely kick-arse PC GFX cards now for not much coin at all, certainly compared to what that level of performance would have cost in the past.

Look at the newer ATI cards starting from the Radeon 4850 right up to the latest 5890s - top-notch performance starting from around £70+. thumbsup.gif

I know, but the whole pc is outdated. I need a whole new rig and considering what I've spent this year on growing Mrs Sparkle would be having none of it ermm.gif

You can get a laptop for £400 that would play Batman so take that down to a Desktop £250 maybe £300. Played all latest games with a 8800GT top/topish settings no problems. Bioshock. Res Evil 5(pants too many boss fights). Batman Wolfenstein

Batman was great, although its pretty short. I could not be arsed to go looking for all of the special items that are hidden everywhere and there is not a great deal of replay value there, but while it lasts its brilliant.

I traded my copy in for Halo ODST once I had completed it.

It's a huge-arse game though (as in filesize) -it weighs in at around 9GB - żI wonder if that's all the detailed GFX and dialogue &c.?
