Hi Guys, ive got a plant that is currently ten days over, at home, shes looking great, and im so tempeted to chop her, but i have this feeling to wait and see if she swells up some more, and the inner buds develope some more, i have others out aswell, and judging there finish time by this one, so very eager for them to be done with all this bad weather. Ive been walking around with the scissors this morning! but cant bring myself to do it! even though some branches look far more finished than others.
What do you do when you really want to chop but know you shouldnt quite yet, or maybe you are stronger willed than me, and its not an issue.

you growing outside then? i thought you were indoors till i read the bit about bad weather. i don't know where you are in uk but today i think there's rain pretty much everywhere in uk. i have a feeling it's all downhill from now sorry to say. i chopped mine yesterday. i got some good buds, some rather leafy but crystal covered nonetheless. if weather was not an issue i would have deffinately given them another 2 weeks but i didn't trust the weather and today we have had a really dark day with heavy rain so i'm glad i chopped.

also with the temperatures getting colder and not much (if any) proper sunshine i really doubt your buds will get much bigger or denser if they are nearly there anyway. you are lucky that they are finshed or near finished because some guys on here have a long way to go with their plants. i don't want to say you should deffinately chop as i haven't seen your plants. can u get a pic? however i think you should probably chop because the english weather is not on your side and the frosts are going to start soon i reckon.
btw what strain are they?

if some branches are alot more developed than others and you don't want to chop you could chop off the most developed branches and leave the rest of the plant. i still think you should chop if they are ready cos you are leaving yourself open to mould and budrot with this weather.

What janet16 said, just crop a bit if your desperate for a blow.

(If you grow too long they'll go couchlocked, maybe you want that)

Hay man, just cut off the parts of the plant you think are done and leave the rest.

Many people do this and its actually a good idea, it frees up the lower buds to get more air and light and you can have a smoke while you watch the grass grow, wink.gif

Cheers guys, Thanks for the replies, im in no rush for the smoke, just worrying like a old hen! should i? shouldnt i? the age old question! Not so worried about the ones at home, more so the wild ones. Havnt been for a while, dont like to visit too often, so been gauging them by the home ones, (mothers) one of which has grown quite big, and i really want this to finish right, but i dont want to be to anal about it, but i want it right, hence the hesatation and doubt in my mind! or it could be i am already smoking one of my smaller plants and VERY much enjoying it!!
