what would be more beneficial if i used 1x 600 watt hps for vegging or 4x 200 watt enviros. would this be cheaper and im getting more watts so is it better to use the enviros?

Depends on the area you're trying to cover, but in almost any set-up, the 600 watt HPS will wipe the floor with those fluorescent abominations ...

More growth, less electricity and heat.

If you want to save money and make life a lot easier (after a few grows), buy a 250 watt HPS to go with the 600.

HID lamps over anything else atm. Linear fluros are better than cfl's so you kinda get the idea, yes?

how many plants are you vegging a 600 seems like overkill for veggers get a 250 for veggin and the 600 for budding
