Just got some essence to help control/prevent LSF.. In the instructions it says "too fine a spray or too much pressure could result in shredding the membrane around the beneficial species."I only have a rubbish pump action sprayer that sprays a fine mist so that is no good? Can i pour brew/catalyst into a watering can and pour that over my plants instead shopping around for a better sprayer?
Thanks..

You want to wet all surfaces pp, thats under and the top surfaces of the leaves, if you mean a trigger sprayer, ie squeezing trigger acts as a pump, forget it, it will kill most of the microheard, you can buy a cheap pump up sprayer in B&Q.

Thanks OT1 smoke.gif ... I'll go and get a proper pump action job from BnQ tomorrow gunsmilie.gif my one is a trigger type .. Don't think i can get under all the leaves with a watering can but i didn't want to waste my time and kill the microherd..
Thanks again.

I use a watering can, but with a fine rose attachment for a rainshower type effect....works well...

and me , ive tried three cheaper different pump sprayers under £10 mark and there bloody awful , personally i would consider spending a bit more on a sprayer , good luck .

Forgot to add, i just stroke the leaves gently upwards after I've covered them with the watering can...this seems to get most, but obviously not all, of the undersides coated...

Heya Mono , not really the best way to apply its the tiny globules that are needed , a surfactant will help as will fine spraying you're plants with plain water , water-surfactant then watering can , i give my plants a really good shake also , good luck .

I use that yucca extract, it's great stuff.
