Hi all just a quick couple of newbie questions, Am i right in thinking that i dont have to adjust my ph when growing in Westland Multi Purpose Compost with added John Innes & West+?, Also i have loads of Vitalink plus hydro sitting on my shelf do you think i would be ok using it for this grow?
Thank you

The compost will buffer its self mate..

Get some biobizz grow & bloom to feed them in flower.

You wont need any nutes in veg as long as you pot up in stages. (each pot of fresh compost should have enough nutes in it for around 2/3 weeks)

You don't have to pH at all with any decent normal compost - they're self-buffering.

If you're growing in a sterile medium like a peat-based MP compost, then there's no reason that you can't use hydro nutes with it.

Some people on here have had great success using just Fishmix - it might be best to use it and then a little PK boost for during the flowering stage though. wink1.gif

for a novice, fish mix is very good, easy to use and very forgiving if you over do it, its also very good for the micro beneficials in your planting medium and plants love it ............. its all I ever use yinyang.gif

I'm just trying a few different types at the moment from sustainable source's (spent salmon mortality's ect and crab waste)

......... good luck yinyang.gif
