Hi peeps, just thought i would tell you about a fix for rrod. i've tried loads of fixes but none of them last. so i tried this

it comes from germany and its worked on 4 360s upto now only time will tell if its a stayer or not but they do go into the fact that you need to modify the chassis because of 2 standoffs that are too high causing the mb to flex a prob that was fixed on the elite.

Got an easier way to fix RROD.......buy a new xbox, swap the old one for the new one, take it back get a refund. Bobs ya uncle, fannys your aunt! fixed

done that with a game my missus erased from the pc. took back the erased one about an hour alter saying it diddnt work

I just got RROD on my 2nd console last week. First one that broke got sold as parts on ebay and i bought a new one. This time i decided to go for the free repair. A few clicks with microsoft and they emailed me a parcel label, printed it out and stuck on xbox and UPS picked it up today. My xbox is 2 years old but they will repair RROD for 3 years for free. Should be back in 2 weeks.

I've only posted this because mine and alot of others have been opened so no warrenty. so the only way to go really. And besides ms cant fix shit my lads has been back 4 times, they said there is no prob with it but it kept over heating, 2 red lights so i opened it the cooling fan wasnt even soldered to the board so i fixed it its been ok for 8 months now. And thats not the only 360 to have to go bk more than once i myself know of 4.
