Hi,

I've got two seedlings that have popped up out of their rockwool cubes
(getting ready for a e&f grow).

They are under a 250w blue cfl for now at about 3" above their heads.
Seedlings are about 1" high.

When would you consider putting them under a:

- 400w mh

- 600w hps


please?

I'm guessing to start the main lights high to get them used to it first,
dropping the height by 1" each day...?

I would say put them under the 400 watt MH at around 3 weeks.

If the 600 is what you're planning to use for flowering, then use it for the last two weeks of veg while they're filling their flowering pots ...

... at least that's what I would do - in compost ...

Are your plants going to be in moveable pots that can be grouped together when the plants are small ?
