I was just wondering because it appears that not many people know about it , when to be honest it is SUCH an amazing game!

Tbh i love any lucasarts game like grim fandango or monkey island.

This was one of my favourite games when i was a kid.I always remember pushing the speaker over to get the fake sick to fall of the ceiling
I also loved monkey island. I downloaded the remake on x box live to play it again was great fun and was redone in hd.

yeah i played it when i was younger, so im not sure whether i just found it puzzling/hard because of my age or whether it was actually pretty hard haha

I also played another lucasarts game which was an indiana jones one which was good and about Nazi's and Atlantis, but i cant seem to find a trace of it.

Yeah, that was one awesome game! Really funny and pretty difficult with a tripped out storyline!

The version with speech is even better!

I love day of the tenticle and the monkey island games too. They've been making some new monkey islands for the PC i think, be much nicer not having to swop between 11 floppy discs now

Ya! I was such a fan of those adventure games day of the tentsacle,monkey island, fateof atlantis, and of course titles like maniac mansion, sam & max hit the road, beneath a steel sky, discworld "missing presumed?" etc etc, i could go on forever

Maniac mansionwas bundledas a secret 'in-game' in day of the tentacle i think. You went through a pipe or something and appeared at the start of the maniac mansiongame

im just finding out if its at all possible to download it free online, i bought the cd for it with sam and max off amazon a couple of years ago but my sister lost it- ANNOYING!

monkey island 1 and 2 and a few other lucasarts titles are available and compatible with new machines using the scummvm interpreter http://www.scummvm.org/

as for the games themselves, they are freely available too, if you look in the right places

Aye, I've been on the abandonware recently, there's some corkers if you care to look further than flashy graphics. I've recently downloaded Blood (a Doom clone, but a fun, gory and very tongue in cheek one), Betrayal at Krondor, Caesar II, Master of Magic, Stronghold, and Wizadry VII - Crusaders of the Dark Savant. All of them are true classics (as you can tell, I generally prefer strategy games). Some work under winxp, some require dosbox.

Bit more mature with the whole biker theme, just a pity it didn't go the whole "hog" with you shifting crystal meth. What about and a sub game where you beat on mods from your hog?

I mean that's keeping it real, an adventure about an unattractive man trying to get laid with comical results.
I can relate to that.

Someone needs to make another one I can really relate to about a stoner on a quest for decent weed and every time he tries to score he gets shafted. having to "use" butane "with" mold weed to get by till he finally reaches endgame and gets a nice stash of high-grade.

Highly recommend the new adventure releases from Telltale games.
You mentioned Sam & Max, the original and the new ones are still some of the wackiest fun I've had with my trousers on imo(totally hilarious).
New Monkey Island as mentioned is being really well expanded on by them as well.
