I got so pi*sed off with trying to suss it out, I gave up and used sellotape mad.gif . There's no instructions, so thanx Jointhogger for giving me some sort of clue as to what to do - I now have 2 bits of plastic strips and some plastic thingies that I don't know what to do with wacko.gif . Any ideas on a postcard etc,. as to what I can do with them to BB and maybe Rhino can put instructions in the box rofl.gif
Joint hogger
how did you get on with the strap BB ?

heres some more pics if your still stuck wink.gif

this is what you start of with, the cord & plastic clip.

you push the cord through the plastic clip.

then you put the end of the cord back through the clip like this & you push one of the small locking bars inside the loop.

heres both sides of the cord looped & locked, its easier if the CF isnt fitted in place but its still do able,
you just pull the end of the cords to tighten things up.

Nice!!!

lol.gif I got the rhino filter yesterdaY and had a look at these plastic bits....

Just shook me head, threw them over me shoulder, and got the Royal mail red rubber bands out, perfect for the job....

When the bands perish I might have a look at these proper straps again, thanks Jointhogger..

They shoud make the ducting a couple of mil bigger ranting.gif

never used to use a cf in the early veg weeks. Try and save its life span a bit thumbsup.gif

as soon as I opened the box could tell they were shite so threw then in my 'grow spares' box. Just put mine up and used the tent ties to secure the cover in place.

i cut a 1 1/2 - 2" line into the duct end & fit it onto the CF, then use decent gaffa tape to hold the ducting on,
then its on with the jubilee clip, then another bit of gaffa tape to make sure its airtight, it works for me thumbsup.gif

i dont get it once you wrap them around the filter wtf do you attach them to? and how? what do i do?... drive a screw through the strap to the roof or what?
Joint hogger
no, just make sure its as tight as you can get it, failing that, 2 cheap bungee cords should sort you out wink.gif

huh? unsure.gif are these things meant to just keep the sleeve on? or are they to hang the filter from the GS?

theyre just to hold the sleeve on, my cf sits on the 2 support rails in my tent but i also use 2 bungees to hold the cf up.
