Very much a thumbs up from me. Strong plants that yield well with little in the way of care.

Been growing it myself for a couple of years now. Its my favourite as it happens. After smoking for too many years, its the only strain I find to be completely paranoia free no matter how much I smoke!

Dutch passion mazar has been a favourite of mine for 6 years I really must get her grown again sometime soon.
Very easy to grow with an average yield. As for smell hard to descibe but she bloody stinks!
Heres an other couple of old pics..
Pic 1 is mazar clones with a weeks veg in a nft system...1 oz colas!
Pic 2 is mazar from seed, vegged for 6 weeks in compo..cant remember yield!
Give her a go,youll not regret it..promise!

Looks lovely, got some lovely bright green mixed in with lots and lots of dark orange hairs.
Smells kinda fruity, not much of a strong potent smell in my opinion.
Tastes kinda average, it's not an amazing taste but it's not bad either, it's smooth and fairly light which I quite like.
Smoke... knock out. Seriously not sure I've really had a smoke that unique ever. For me it's one of those unique hits that somehow cuts through everything else. My mate grew some and we coined the phrase "you've been mazarred" because trust me it's fuckin strong

I found a Mazar seed in some of my mates crop that I'm praying will pop.. i love it

Probably pop one in my next grow!

Very nice strain and very strong, worth keeping it curing for a while because its very strong, well it was for me anyway, but after a good cure its one of the best smokes I've had.

It's a nice smoke

Provided the beans are viable and sprout like they should that is

Tried dp mazar twice and germination was tom tit!1st 2/5...............2nd 1/5.......and ive never had probs with germination before dp mazar

Also a couple of beans were weired shapes and distorted and with crap packaging(paper pack)im surprised that any of them germed at all!..........Have not bothered with DP's range since

as beans are expensive for what hey are and there are plenty of other seed co's that are better still!

DP mazar is my current fave... I agree with all the positive stuff that people have said about this strain.
Mine dont' stink until they begin to cure/get smoked... after which it's a stinker.
I've had problems with root-rot (the colas on mine are quite leafy as you'd expect from an indica) but that's probably more to do with my environment than the plant.
I find the taste OK, but mine are quite strong tasting - after a few joints it gets a bit much (the taste) so I tend to alternate mazar with other smokes.
Otherwise a great bedtime smoke (otherwise it can force me to reschedule my entire day...)

i am growing 5 dp mazar at the moment, 2 and a half weeks till the chop and they are looking beautiful, absolutely dripping in crystals even the shade leaves.
i soaked 10 seeds, of which 9 cracked and sprouted. of the 9, 5 were very healthy girls who are all doing well.

The problem with seeds is that like most products they end up changing hands lots of times before they finally reach the end user. You don't know how they have been stored or handled etc.. So it doesn't surprise me when people get packs of seeds and they get like 10% germination. It's hit and miss. I wouldn't automatically assume the seed company was shit, just that you got unlucky!
I guess if you buy direct from Dutch Passion you increase the chances though

Between 9 & 10 weeks for me (I'd leave 'em for a bit longer but I end-up fighting budrot...)
