Hi

Which one is a 4mm through connector and which one is a 'nipple' or 'spike' insert which you use to spur off larger pipe with 4mm ?

I think it's the one on the left with the top part inserted into the larger pipe ??

Am i correct

If it's hozelock, the one on the right (A tube adaptor)is used for spurring off a larger supply, and I think the left one looks like a 4mm through?.. unsure.gif

You need the punch to connect the adaptor to the 13 mil - they can be used as a 4mm straight connector too. smile.gif

Use a fine drill bit - about 3 mil ish.. I've used wire, skewers.. I'd advise getting the punch if you can. It's only a couple of quid, and it makes the job easier if you have quite a bit to do.. smile.gif

yeah the one on the left is a nipple it can be inserted into a hole on a larger pipe to split it to 4mm mate wink.gif

the one on the right is a straight through connector which also splits into 4mm im sure tho cant tell from that pic unsure.gif

Cheers matey, following your guide, so much appreciated. It made sense to me as one end it is different to the others. I noticed you are using a bucket instead of a big res, hows it holding up ?

But i also notice in your guide you used the rhs one to spur off with 4mm ???

Also if you got any other updates/tips lmk.

Well got tbh not to impressed with the fit of these. If i try to connect with the lhs one using top section if will not go flush, otherway around is better. In that case though i may as well use the rhs one as it has the same ends....

Had a piece of pipe and tried 2,3,4,5mm, loads differing hole punch sizes and still get movement no matter what i try, not sure if it will seal under pressure though ?
