Morning all,

A friend is having issues with his plants. Everything seemed to be going ok, had a few probs early on but had seemed to be back on track with help from here ( Up until now!).

He had been vegging them for about 4-5 weeks. They looked ok, not very tall bout 12-13" at a guess very bushy though. EC of about 1.5 including background. PH between 5.5-6.2. Plant seems ok nice and green. Well basically had just switched to 12/12 for the first day. The day before everything seemed fine. Gave them the 12 hour dark period but when checked them on lights on was horrified to find a load of leaves with patches on.

They tended to be around the middle to upper of the plant

We have been through countless web pages and the closest we can find from looking at pictures is what seems like either light burn or Boron or Magnesium deficiency. But were still not convivnced...

The patches are in the middle of the veins and in most cases are kind of uniform both sides of leave. Orange/brown necrotic looking patches. The problem literally sprung up overnight but is affecting at least 10-15 leaves not just on one plant either.

Will up pics later when get back from friends house. Its hard to get good pic though because of lights and don't want to disturb them in dark period.

Anyway just hoping someone may have had similar experiences and could point us in the right direction.

The problem area seems to be directly under the light which makes us think light burn yet its not on the edge of the leaves in most cases more in the middle between the veins. (Sorry pretty crappy description, hard without bing able to show pic)
