AN have historically been overpriced, overhyped, overmarked, top-of-the-line, premium bullshit nutrients. Sure, people love Overdrive or Big Bud, but in general their products are overcooked in my and many other people's opinion.

So, what does Big Mike do? Release 3 new products to enhance his image as a purveyor of pure hypeware.

The first, Bud Candy, many people know is Carboload and SweetLeaf in the same bottle, but twice the price for half the nutes.

Secondly, and this is the real mofo....BUD FACTOR X....NPK 0-0-1....RRP £69.99, retail cost £40.....a LITRE ffs! And no-one knows what's in it. No side by sides, nothing. Pure unadulterated bullshit. This stuff would have to do incredible things to crops for that kind of a price, and you have to be a mug to spend that kind of money on a promise alone.

Thirdly, Rhino Skin is just Barricade but at twice the money.

It's all completely nuts. Please don't fund Big Mike's bullshit any further by spending these ridiculous sums of money on totally unproven products. It really pisses me off because in any other industry it wouldn't be permitted.

I was told about theese "new" products that were being released. And I was aware of the Budcandy ripoff. I even quized my helpful service assistant in the shop on my last visit. I asked about the budcandy, and asked the obvious question ABOUT TWO PRODUCTS IN THE SAME BOTTLE FOR MORE MONEY, POINTING OUT IT WOULD BE CHEAPER TO BUY THE SWEETLEAF AND CARBOLOAD seperatley than puchase half a litre of each in the same bottle, the chap just looked blankly for a minute asked his mate, and just gave me a blank look and said "thats advanced nutrients".

I am using Bigbud and will be using overdrive. But I refuse to buy into this money making machine. I would love to have a chat to Tech Mike and ask for some evidence to proove the quality of all theese things they release. Licence to print money springs to mind, .

Like Phukka and E5oteric Hydro before them, I bet that AN makes loads of money mainly from n00bs who've just started growing and are persuaded that there are 'magic' grow additives that somehow mystically boost yields by some process unknown to modern science.

I bet that because of they way that they're packaged and marketed that said n00bs also believe that 'the pros' use this kind of stuff, and if they use it, and it costs so much money then it must be good stuff and surely it'll pay back for itself many times over.

Ironic when the majority of 'pros' don't even use all that novelty additive crap and just stick to the tried tested (& cheap) Fishmix and G'n'B.

I think i will be using this unless there is some thing better out there that dont cost a bomb.

Hi all I am using AN super bud blaster as an additive and its working well NICE & thick buds

Ive bought and tried all the yeild boosters and what a waste of cash they were , even pk13/14 makes no differance if your base nuitrient is right and changed on a regular basis , the best cash I ever spent that in fact did give considrable yeild boost was on an RO fillter proving to me at least its not what you put in its what you leave out , ask anyone who's been growing a while and you get the same answer "dont waste your money on holy grail products " .

for 70P we get 10L of grow and bloom,and some change for bottle off fish mix,thats a 2 year full range off nutrients. I am suprised to see its that pricey product with small amount off aditives.

Mind me i have no sligtest idea about hydro growing..

-Thanks bro, well I noticed it keepet the streaching down and internode spacing closer, shit dident get so bushed out like normal, it keept the growth more confined to the buds, the buds swelled up alot more, basicley its like steroids for plants the calixes were so swelled up it looked like they were going to freaking explode, there all knoted up, but only on the indicas, I dident see any differance on my SK#1 or sativa dominate strains. The bubba OG and grandaddy purple loved it, but I would only use it at half strenth, or in weeks 1,3&6, hope this helps ya

Anyone know what could give that kind of an effect with an NPK of 0-0-1? Or more importantly, anyone want to do a side-by-side?
