rite guys i need an answer please ph34r.gif

in my tent i have a mini air cooler which obviously pumps out cool air, that is my only source of intake in the tent (other than a 6" fan going over canope) all the sides are down so no light leaks in or out.

My question is, is this really doing any good my plants seem fine at the mo (3 1/2 weeks into flower) but am i just pushing warm air around my tent

i do have a 4" extraction at the top leading to my acrbon fiter which is outside the tent.
i grow in my spare room with the door open to get rid of all the hot air

please can some1 sugest anything better for me or is this ok

cheers 420ers thumbsup.gif

I'm no expert, but I thought you need fresh air to replenish the CO2 required for photosynthasis ? how long you been running that setup ?
Scribb|e
Yep - it'll be useless as the plants need fresh air so that they can get their supplies of CO² which is actually about 95%+ of what the plants 'eat', not the stuff they get from the soil/nutes - they're more like 'vitamins and minerals' to the plants. wink1.gif

Proper ventilation also deals with the humidity from the plants transpiring water - you will have serious humidity problems if you carry on growing without a proper setup.

¿What were you going to do about a carbon filter and smells? spliff.gif

i have a mini air cooler on and a 6" fan on 24/7 temps during day are 28.6 with 61% RH and at nite temps are 18 with 91% RH cheers for looking mate

Hey, noticed this on your other tread, you don't need to spend out on a dehumidifier, a passive intake would be a good start. your plants will love the fresh air and you humidity should lower.
