Full Version: Early Harvest
Hi there im new to the forum and also a new grower! i live in chilly wales and am worried about frost so have harvested early. my question/problem is a fair few of the pistils on my bud are still white and it also seems to be more leaf clusters then actule bud, will this effect the final smoke much after a proper dry and cure?

Welcome to UK420 
Still having white pistils isn't a bad thing assuming the plant is flowering heavily. New growth will continue to throw out new pistils. If all are dead and the plant isn't producing any more then it's past it's best and the plant is dying back.
If you're harvesting mainly leaf then don't expect anything good smoke wise. It sounds like your plants didn't get much of a chance to flower.

If you're harvesting mainly leaf then don't expect anything good smoke wise. It sounds like your plants didn't get much of a chance to flower.
