i've got 1 little outdoors that was dumped in a flower bed. it was a good cutting from a good plant but got knocked about and lagged behind so its had zero attention sad.gif it'll be lucky to yield an 8th rofl.gif so was wondering if i just leave it be will it produce seeds?

You'd need male pollen for seeds mate

searched a bit and found a few things saying some will self seed unsure.gif

For them to self seed they would need to be polinated at least 4 weeks before harvest and would therefore be hermie...

you could finish her as long as shes well in to budding by now. put a black bag over her and just mess with the light cycle with no male about as long as shes way into budding this time of the year you will stress the plant out and produce only femanized seeds as theres no male about to pollenate her. this is only my opinion but i dont think i would be far wrong. ask some of the guys on the indoor growing forum about messing with the lighting cycle. wink.gif

If you have one plant and it self pollenates then the plants you grow will have no male qualities. However, they will most likely produce plants that have hermaphrodite qualities (male and female) and possibly self pollenate again. In order to stop this you'll have to keep an eye on the plants and remove pollen sacks when they form.

My best advice is to just spend a few quid and buy some seeds from a respectable supplier... it will save the hastle in the long run, no point in growing any plants under any circumstances and finding them to be anything but female if thats what you're after. (A bit of a truism I suppose)

Hope this helps

if you leave it for a few weeks after ripeness it should produce some lil nanas and self itself with its pollen in a last bid to reproduce an make seeds, weather or not they are hermie is questionable s it depends on the females proneness to hermie in the first place. there will probably be a few in there that show intersex traits probably so yea as someone already said jus keep an eye out an remove them but they will in theory be all female seeds.

cheers for all relpies smile.gif

i'll leave a bud on it then and see if i get a couple of seeds. im going to get some seeds to try a few strains that look good but wanted to keep this one without the need for a mother plant
