Full Version: My First Run Doing Bho

Green Goblin
I have just done my first run of BHO using gas, a pickle jar with 2 holes drilled through the lid and coffee filters and OMG was I surprised at how much yellow coloured sticky oil I have got from such a small amount of trim.

My question is:
How do I get it to become hard/pliable enough to make into a solidish ball, sausage so most of it does not end up on my fingers like it did last night, up to now I have placed it in a cold fridge for an hour and still to sticky to handle, so I have put it in the freezer, there is about 2 grams of it on an old credit card in the freezer, can anyone tell me how long it will take in the freezer before it is hard enough to roll into sausages and spliff up with. I do have plenty of dry sift in my space case, but really wanted to keep that until xmas and wanted to smoke to bho to night in spliffs without a pin or screw, just to messy and spoils the pleasure.

I have 3 carrier bags of this trim to use and have only used a handful of trim up to now and that has cost £8 in gas, is there a cheaper way of buying a lot of gas for bho. Fair does though, £8 for this quality oil is cheap, my mate was unconscious after sharing 2 spliffs last night, so it is worth it.

Thanks in advance,
GG

hi gg,
not an expert me , but ime bho goes kind of crusty if left out in the air for a long time , but ive never got a kind of 'ball' which handles like hash , unless ive mixed it with drysift.
(you wouldnt have to use all you've saved , about the same amount as the oil you have 'll make a real sticky hash, which will worm up.

in the state you have it at the mo , the only way ive ever been able to use it is to smear it on a rizla , then roll a zoot with that paper , or to put it in a pipe smeared all over a bud.

some folks ive seen recommend 'whipping it over a gentle heat , but this has always seemed odd to me , i reckon that goodness should stay away from any heat til it gets burnt down .
enjoy your oil sir ,
(and i love your style - an old pickle jar , yes mate!)

The heating of the oil causes decarboxylation (the removal of water and carbon dioxide)which activate's the thc
